"You follow what you feel inside It's intuitive, you don't have to try"

quick update:
starting next wednesday (march 3rd) i will be a manager again. yay? yes. yay. It is good (ish) money, and I know i can handle it. it is temporary and I am NOT going to stop going to school but I am going to continue going part time.
i am going to be going to st. george soon for spring break and i am very very excited for that because i haven't been in YEARS which is just not acceptable. I'm not totally sure who i'm going with yet, but i am going. fun. :)
anyway, that's about it.
okay. off to work. :S

"I thought I lost you when you ran away to try to find me"

I just thought you'd all like to know that I am still alive. I haven't died, I just haven't had anything blog worthy (as mom says, anything is blog worthy, but i need to feel it ya know?) to post. I don't actually feel there is anything to really post now but I will just update I guess.
I am in my second semester at SLCC and it is going fairly well so far. I am taking Spanish 1020, CIS 1020 (basic computers) and Pilates. Pilates pretty much rocks my world. It is super relaxing but also quite effective--I am sore after each workout. I am doing it at home as well because 2 times a week just isn't enough.
I'm still at Subway but i'm getting paid $10 an hour which is kinda nice.
Nothing else is really report worthy...
I'm happy, I'm healthy, but I am kinda broke, but I'm managing. Gotta love help from parents.
i will try and post more. Loves.

"Don't you know that I'm thankful (for the moment) When I'm down and you'll just try to make me smile"

I know. I know! It has been more than a month since I've posted!! Lo siento! Pero muy ocupado y cansada!
Anyway, I just wanted to post the things that I am grateful for...briefly at least.

A) I am so very grateful and blessed for the many opportunities I have had to Travel to all the many places I have been including (but in no means limited to): Scotland, Maine, Boston, Bahamas and New York.
B) I am beyond blessed with so many incredible friends in my life. There aren't enough words to describe how grateful I am so..
C) I am grateful for the love and support my family has always given me. Whether I was struggling with depression or moving across the country alone, my family has never failed to be there.
D) I am grateful for my cousin and wonderful roommate Diane for making living on my own for the FIRST TIME so fantastic!
E) (and lastly, for this blog post anyway) I am grateful for my health, my happiness and my life.

There really aren't enough ways to say "thank you" to the people in my life, but I hope this helps gets my love across.

Mucho amor!!
Es todo.
Hasta luego!!

"Man she saves me To this day I don't know why She picked me up When i was down on the road"

alright everyone. I need some help/suggestions.
For my English 2600 class (Critical Intro to Lit), we are doing presentations on our choice of either a short story, poem, essay, or short dramatic work. I asked my teacher if I could use a song because, let's be honest, songs are just lyrical/musical poetry. I am trying to choose something smart, moving and just good. The presentation is to discuss/teach my reaction and interpretation of my chosen piece. I was wondering if my fab readers (the 5 or so there are ;) ) could help me out by putting what SONG has stuck with you for years and why. Who knows, I might choose yours, or it might give me the inspiration for mine. I have a few choices (which yes, I will list and no, I will not defend) but I'm not sure if those are the right ones. Anyway, comment as you will.

John Lennon--
-"I Don't Want to be A Soldier"
-"Born in a Prison"
-"Woman is the N***** of the World"

Beatles--
-"Happiness is a Warm Gun"
-"Something"

Eminem--
-"Mockingbird"
-"Like Toy Soldiers"

Kanye West--
-"Jesus Walks"

"Cuando Escucho Esta Cancion Mi Corazon Quiere Cantar"

***¡Más español! ¿Quién es excitado?***

Estoy feliz de estar vivo.
No me gusta bailar.
Me gusta leer
A trabajar diez horas es difícil.
Yo estudio español para aprender a hablar español.

Okay i'm done. and now i'm going to bed.

"It's all right 'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown So, let go, let go"

So my apartment is finally feeling like someone actually LIVES there! It is awesome! We got a couch and a big chair and the coffee table Diane bought and fixed up with Grandpa finally has a place and a purpose! Diane's piano is up here and it fits fabulously! We have a fridge full (ish) of food and this glorious Friday morning I made crepes, hash browns and bacon for Diane and myself this morning because I don't have school today and assuming Jack finds me a shift today (wish wish, hope hope!), I don't work until roughly 10 or 11 at the earliest. So in hopes of keeping a semi-schedule going all week, I got up at 7 to make this breakfast and then as soon as I'm finished with this blog post and dishes, I will be doing some homework until Jack calls.
I will post some pictures of this fabulous apartment I call mine (and Di's) as soon as it is clean aka as soon as I stop being lazy and clean my room.
Okay. I have nothing else to say right now, so I'm done.
Enjoy!
